Internationally acclaimed, HANS J. GALUTERA, the Founder, and CEO of a Manhattan-based interior architectural design studio, seamlessly integrates artistic creativity with scientific precision, crafting spaces that embody safety, health, and aesthetic excellence. Licensed and registered in the state of New York, Galutera’s illustrious career includes being honored with a Doctorate of Design from Solent University, Southampton, UK, and obtaining degrees from the Melbourne College of Decoration in Australia and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT SUNY) in New York.
In 2002, he co-founded BG Studio International Inc., where his multidisciplinary expertise encompasses luxury commercial and high-end residential interiors, furniture, products, exhibitions, and graphics. His innovative designs range from the ship lengthening concept for Royal Caribbean International’s Enchantment of the Seas to the award-winning Penthouse Suite designs for Celebrity Cruises Reflection of the Seas.
Beyond design, Galutera’s global impact extends to education and public speaking engagements. Previously serving as the New York Chapter President of the International Interior Design Association, he actively contributes to shaping educational environments and the licensure of interior design professionals on the Board of Education for the State of New York. Galutera is also the Ambassador of Education for the Society of British and International Design based in London, England. His influence further expands to the Advisory Board of the International Council for Caring Communities (NGO for the United Nations).
