Carolina NISIVOCCIA

Carolina Nisivoccia is an architect, artistic director and professor. She was born in Milano and grew up in the world of fashion and journalism: industries where she has been active since her university years even before her graduation in Architecture at Milano Politecnico.

Before opening her own studio in 2001, she had worked for some years with Aldo Cibic, creating and developing the R&D division of Cibic and Partners where she focused on the research for materials.
This passion will be her imprinting for her future works.

Today she devotes herself to interior design “at large” in her own studio embracing different sectors.

She was artistic director of Superstudio for three consecutive editions from 2015 to 2017 with the format “Superdesign show”- an extended event on a surface of over 10.000msq and about a hundred exhibitors.

She works for private clients as well as for big national and multi-national companies developing extremely customized projects both in Italy and abroad (Paris, Koln, Monaco, Crans- Montana, Moscow, Mendrisio, and Shanghai).

She has specialized in brand design thanks to strong and long lasting partnerships with her clients.

She has been professor of Brand Design and Brand Strategy at NABA Milano since 2018 teaching post graduate students in Interior Design.

Her works have a humanistic approach including innovative technologies when budget and project allow for it. Whenever technology is included, it is as a mean and not as the final objective of the project.
