Antonio D. DE ANTONIS

Antonio D. De Antonis, born in London, is an Italian professional interior designer who has been leading innovation in the field since 1992. He is the proprietor of ADWS (Antonio De Antonis Work Studio), where he has built a distinguished career in interior design, bringing his expertise to an international array of projects. Respected for his exceptional work in residential, commercial, and public spaces, Antonio has collaborated with high-profile clients across the globe, solidifying his standing as a renowned figure in the industry. Currently, Antonio serves as the President of AIPI (Italian national association of professional Interior design), an organization established since1969 and based in Milan, dedicated to advancing high-quality interior design both in Italy and worldwide. His contributions to the field extend beyond design, as he is a highly sought-after consultant for various industry-leading companies, offering strategic insights on design processes, material selection, and project management. Antonio's influence is also prominent in academia and conferences, where he is an esteemed speaker at numerous events in Italy and abroad. His expert opinions are valued on the international stage, as he often serves as a jury member for various prestigious design awards including the Grand Prix du Design (INT. Magazine, Canada), IDA International Design Awards (Los Angeles, USA), and the National Award of Interior Architecture – My Space (Lithuania) and more others. He plays a significant role in shaping the future of interior design education and thought leadership, being a member of POLIdesign's assembly of associates, affiliated with the Politecnico di Milano's Consortium for Advanced Training. Since 2021, Antonio has contributed his expertise to the New European Bauhaus initiative of the European Commission. Until 2023, he was part of the Board of Directors at the European Council of Interior Architects in Brussels, Belgium. He is also an active council member of IFI (International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers), headquartered in New York. Starting in 2023, with AIPI , he became an official partner to D3 Dubai Design District, part of the TECOM Group PJSC, further expanding his influence in the global design community.
