GAN is a point of reference in Spain, in the interior design sector. This year has been special because its celebration has taken on a greater dimension and scope, to be part of the official program of World Design Capital Valencia 2022. Its stand designed exclusively for Gandia Blasco Group by Kengo Kuma, is a modular space that adapted to Feria Valencia the concept that the Japanese architect designed for the company at the Salone Del Mobile in Milan 2022, a showcase saturated with warmth, natural materials and many handmade products. Gandía Blasco was founded in 1941 as a Valencian family business mainly engaged in the manufacture of traditional blankets and quilts, which it did for over 40 years. In the mid-1980s, the company made a product shift to innovative, well-designed textiles and home funiture and furnishings. They are modern, fresh and full of character.

There is a growing global interest in sleep at this show, as well as a growing awareness of how the quality of sleep affects people’s lives. It is noted that consumers continue to prioritize health and well-being, which has led Ecus to increase demand for quality products that reduce the harmful effects of synthetic materials and introduce a personalized approach to sleep. It is reported that at this fair that the main Spanish mattress manufacturers including Ecus are constantly researching and developing advanced mattresses that offer a better sleeping experience to their customers. Advanced materials designed to support, cradle and regulate temperature have been introduced, along with the different varieties of organic and sustainable materials – bamboo, aloe vera, cotton, soy, natural wool – which is another big trend in the sleep industry.

Unpublished works by Jaime Hayon, an extraordinary creative, were exhibited. A genius in the skope of a Cocteau.
