Our ambition was to create a living environment within a lively city, while being close to the mountains and wild rocks along the waterfront.
The combination of nature and all that reflects humanity is ultimately the most perfect destination. The use of natural materials relaxes people by mitigating the coldness of reinforced concrete and this living space is inseparable from the surrounding nature.
The second floor is an area of public space, bathed in sunlight and surrounded by a courtyard on three sides. Light and shadow are shifted inside, as well as outside, evolving in a lively way all the time. The interior design style also seems to be inspired by nature and does everything possible to “open the hearts” of the occupants and invite them to reach out to the outside world.
A social kitchen concept has been introduced into the design of the domestic activity areas. The semi-open kitchen is perfectly integrated into the style of the dining room, abandoning superfluous decoration and freeing itself from the obstacles of a badly configured space. The scenes of daily life can be inserted between the moments spent in the dining room or those dedicated to relaxation, following a fluid and free layout, which promotes openness. A SPA area has been created on the lower level of the building: transforming the original relatively closed space into a more transparent structure. The lines that outline the facade are relieved of the feeling of rigidity that is normally provided by the use of particularly rigid traditional lines. The silhouette of the premises adopts the soft and light curve of a net, stretching in contact with the light and the external shadows. This approach emphasizes the lines of the building and extends the width of the visual field through the use of curved surfaces.
