GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 15th edition
Discipline : Art & Photography
Categories : Art Projects / Visual art : Silver Certification
She travels the fields and the beaches to capture the flight of white geese. Then, she lets her body of photographs inspire her and chooses one of them as a starting point for creation. She listens carefully to the photograph and imagines the possible. In the creation presented, the source was taken at the Réservoir Baudet in Victoriaville. The artist explodes colors and creates a landscape far from the standard photography. Nature is strong and changing like emotions and it is in playing with colors, textures and superposition of images that the artist achieves her goal of creating a unique artwork. The medium chosen for the work is brushed metal, which adds a matte effect and an iridescent color to the creation. Just like the geese that return each year, she names her pieces with the date and time of their completion.
