David RODIER
David has been immersed in the landscaping art world since childhood, having grown and worked in a family of entrepreneurs who founded and operated a business in this universe since 1980.
In search of knowledge and innovative ideas, his degree in landscape architecture (University of Montreal and University of Adelaide, Australia) and ornamental horticulture (ITA St-Hyacinthe), his travels and internships in Western Canada, in Italy and for an urban development project in Lebanon allow him to fulfill his interests and his desire to broaden his horizons.
David continues to develop and grow the family business. In office since leaving university in 2006, he has spent all his summers exploring the different sectors of the landscaping field: laborer, lanscape team leader and plan designer.
His field experiences combined with school learning are a major asset in his mastery of the many facets of his sphere of activity.
Now CEO and majority shareholder of Paysages Rodier, he actively brings his vision and colours to the company. Very involved in the industry, he sat on the board of directors of Horti-Compétences and on a watershed committee of the Yamaska River. He currently sits on the board of Québec Vert and has chaired the board of the Association of Professional Landscapers of Quebec (APPQ) since 2021, where he promotes the members to the public.
