Antonio D. DE ANTONIS

Antonio D. De Antonis has been a professional interior designer since 1992 and is the founder and principal of ADWS (Antonio De Antonis Work Studio). Renowned for his extensive career and vast experience, he has established himself as a leading figure in the field of interior design, both in Italy and internationally.

He currently serves as the President of AIPI - Italian Association of Professional Interior Designers, based in Milan. Founded in 1969, AIPI is dedicated to promoting excellence in interior design in Italy and worldwide. Antonio is also an active speaker and founding member of the MIA - Mediterranean Interior Architects, Tunisia headquarters), further contributing to the international discourse on design.

Additionally, he is the Executive Vice President on the Board of Directors of EIDD – Design for All, with a mandate for the development and promotion of inclusive interior design.

Throughout his career, Antonio has completed numerous prestigious projects across Italy and abroad, designing residential, commercial, and public spaces and collaborating with high-profile clients. He is a sought-after consultant for leading companies in the sector, providing expertise in design strategy, material selection, and project management.

Fluent in both Italian and English, Antonio is recognized for his influential role as a speaker at numerous conferences, particularly on the international stage. He is also an visitor lecturer for the Soft Skills course in the Department of Design at the Politecnico di Milano and frequently serves as a juror for several distinguished international interior design and architecture awards, including:

Since 2021, he has actively contributed to the initiatives of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) of the European Commission.

Until 2023, he served on the Board of Directors of ECIA (European Council of Interior Architects, Brussels, Belgium) and as President of the Institute Council at MIBE

High School of Art in Pescara, Italy.

From 2023, he is an official partner of the D3 Dubai Design District (TECOM Group PJSC, Dubai, UAE).
