GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 15th edition
Discipline : Landscape & Territories
Categories : Landscape Architecture / Landscape Architecture - Rural Areas : Bronze Certification
Combining a love of English gardens with a unique contemporary architecture designed by architect Anik Péloquin, was the initial mandate given to NaturEden for this project of numerous and successive blooms. Located on a naturally sloping site, the new residence had to be integrated into the surrounding landscape while allowing the owners' passion for flowers to express itself. The estate is now enveloped in curved flowerbeds that welcome pollinators in an abundance of fragrances and harmonious colors. The succession of blooms change in tone with the seasons, beginning the summer season in bluish hues and transitioning to warmer pink hues by the end of the summer, followed by the autumn feast of colors.
