A New Approach to Fence Applications
Expansion Cityline is a unique office furniture solution designed for open plan and collaborative spaces. In 2022, Teknion Roy & Breton design team innovates with a new approach to fence solution: Cityline EZ Fence. This space division solution is a unique structure designed for Architects & Interiors Designers that want an engaging workplace with tailored spaces adapted to the new working realities.
Designed for well-being
The Cityline Fence is a freestanding structure that features a distinctive design with a light, elevated look that allows the natural light to come through workstations. The wide array of finishes and materials, and the integration of planters and height-adjustability contribute to the user's well-being.
Upper Structure
The Upper Structure features a unique “A-Frame” design for space division, accommodating both sitting and standing height privacy. The signature Lift and Drop tiles can be installed without tools and allow to personalize the workspace using a wide array of engaging materials, such as Natural Cork, Felt, Glass, Metal, Wood and Fabric. A variety of storage and accessories, such as shelves, book displays and planter boxes allows for added vertical functionality.
From workstations to collaborative areas
The Cityline Fence structure helps break up the space into different activity-based zones while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the workspace. It is a multi-functional product that can either be used as a workstation or a freestanding space divider. Dress it up with storage and shelves to create a functional space, or use it with a media center and a meeting table to create a dynamic collaborative area.
Expansion Cityline is currently the most complete fence solution in the market. It helps create a wide array of applications, from simple power distribution to multi-functional space division.

The internal Teknion Roy & Breton Industrial Design and R&D teams worked over 2 years to bring Cityline to life. Since its launch in 2017, it has won 9 international prizes, including a IDEA gold award in 2018. Manufactured locally in Québec in Teknion Roy & Breton plants, the product was an immediate commercial success. Its unique philosophy, its great planning flexibility and its modern aesthetic made Cityline a perfect solution for today’s workplace.
