Award of the Year – Construction & Real Estate
YUL Condominium Phase 2, Montréal, Québec, Canada
By Groupe Brivia
In collaboration with Groupe Tianco
Architecture by Menkès Shooner Dagenais Letourneux Architectes
The high-rise residential real estate development project YUL Condominiums Phase 2, located in the heart of Montreal’s business district, on René-Lévesque Boulevard, rises over the city upon 38 stores, incarnating urban living and revitalizing a neighborhood block.
Directed by Brivia Group and Tianco Group, it is home to more than 400 luxurious and luminous condos.
While the real estate market in downtown Montreal is teeming with activity, the YUL project continues to establish itself as a prestigious destination by hosting its second 38-storey glass tower comprising more than 400 condominiums.
This second phase, directed by Brivia Group and Tianco Group, offers an incomparable variety of spacious units with a sought-after design, from intimate studios to spectacular Sky Condos, ideal for any city dweller wishing to live in the heart of the action.
In addition to refined amenities such as a spa, indoor pool, gym and spectacular Sky Lounge offered by the first phase of the project, YUL Phase 2 will enhance these facilities with a wine cellar, a terrace on the sixth floor overlooking the garden as well as private rooms that can be reserved for events. The common areas are furnished by Armani/Casa, following the distinctive lines of the inimitable Milanese designer.
Emblem of Montreal’s contemporary architecture, this bold design of staggered blocks follows the line drawn by Habitat 67 and other cutting-edge projects that have earned Montreal the & City of Design & designation by UNESCO.
The wide variety of housing units with open-plan developments. The generous windows bathe the main rooms with an abundance of natural light, in addition to offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Within the interiors, concrete, wood, metal, ceramic and glass coexist in perfect harmony.
In the heart of the large high-rise complex, a massive organic garden unites this construction. It establishes a balance between the exterior and the interior and hosts a beautiful green space for its resident’s enjoyment and after-dinner strolls.
The jury was charmed by the exemplary execution of the project, the attention to detail and the integration of the outdoor spaces. The green garden, connecting the various towers, perfectly combines the various materials put forward as well as the sustainability solutions of the project.

JURY’S KUDO “A quality-executed project connected by a most inspiring green outdoor area. A perfect combination of high-end materials and sustainable solutions. The building’s floor-to-ceiling grand windows allow for a great amount of natural light to pour in while creating a beautiful integration of the surrounding environment.
