Box Cove 2 (BC2) is the newest addition to the Inter-lux/Whitegoods Cove family of high-performance luminaires. Whitegoods introduced the first knife-edge cove with integrated light source nearly 20 years ago and now offers the most complete range of integrated cove luminaires. This range was designed to blend in with the surrounding architecture to focus attention on the space, not the lighting.
BC2 lighting distribution provides high efficiency, low angle light into the space, while softly illuminating the back wall of the cove with redirected light. This luminaire is intended to be mounted to any horizontal or vertical surface as well as a standard window mullion and be powered from the back or the end of the fixture run. The result is a very minimalist and seamless approach to indirect illumination of an interior space – which meets the design philosophy of all Whitegoods products.
Modular product design allows the housing to be quick-shipped separately from the electrical gear tray for immediate installation. Another exciting aspect of BC2 is the ability to customize it to fit spaces of all sizes. Coves can be tailored to specific lengths and are supplied with factory-made standard or custom corners.
BC2 is the continuation of a product range that meets the stringent design philosophy of the Whitegoods brand, while delivering the performance, aesthetic, price point and features requested by the design and construction community.
