The China-Quebec Dialogue Still Strong!
Quebecois Talents Awarded in China!
By Juli Pisano
PID has been committed for years in developing a most successful collaboration agreement with the Asia Pacific Design Center (APDC) in China. Chinese designers have participated in the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN for the past 6 years in a category specifically designed for them, and in reciprocity, Québécois designers, winners of the latest GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards, participated this year in the APDC Space Wizards Awards!
The APDC Space Wizards Awards seek to recognize Space Design, the creative and intelligent arrangement of elements in spaces and the best practice of designers and talents who improve the quality of our environments.
Among the candidates entered, the APDC included the winners of the 13th edition of the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN, last edition open exclusively to candidates with a practice address in Quebec. Drum roll, several of our talented firms were recognized among the candidates from all over the world.
Here they are:

Practical and playful, the layout is inspired by the world of video games that the company makes. Like a village, the space is organized along alleys and small squares. The various volumes put forward materials that serve as landmarks and delimit the functions.
