GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 12th edition

For this project, the PERRON architectural and interior design studio felt it fundamental that design intentions be clear and a reflection of its client’s passion. In addition, the Montreal firm wanted the Little-Italy-based Louise bakery to offer its visitors and consumers a client experience that stimulated the senses, making them want to come back. To create an inviting and authentic environment that showcased the products, the designers invested in pure materials and simple shapes. A palette of cool colours created soft contrast with the warmth of freshly baked bread.

This project caught the jury’s attention, identifying the following strengths: “Good choice of colours, combined with a nice ensemble of materials and textures”; “A fresh and light design”; “Harmony among the elements, creating a very warm and welcoming decor”. “We love the layout of the products, which entices you to enjoy a good pastry!”
