GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 12th edition
This building houses an exhibition centre for the region’s real estate developers, but plans call for it to be subsequently converted into a public building. It is intended as a work of art on the theme of water; through the interior design, architecture and landscaping, the designers seek to evoke the three states of water. The outdoor water body reflects the powerful architectural lines of the building, which appears to be afloat, and also the facade’s “cascade of light.” Long marble paths underscore the dynamic design, including the geometrically composed tower.
