Christian MATTEAU
Christian MATTEAU has twenty years plus of experience in project management of urban projects and landscape studies in Europe, Africa and North America. He is interested in landscape and urban planning issues, from the design of public spaces with multiple challenges, and more broadly in land use planning. The reflections and proposals carried out on each project are essentially polarized along an innovation-oriented approach, combining several fields of analysis and intervention: programmatic, landscape, ecology and sustainable development, architecture and urban design. This multiplicity of disciplines allows for a global and transversal vision of landscape issues and the transformations of our living environments. Seeking to sublimate the site, he has worked on several historical sites designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Pont du Gard and the Canal du Midi in France, Lake Erhai in the Yunnan region in China.
Christian MATTEAU is a graduate of the School of Landscape Architecture, Faculté de l’Aménagement, University de Montréal, Québec, qualified in the Environmental Approach to Urban Planning (AEU), he is an accredited member of the Association of Landscape Architects of Québec (AAPQ) and a member of the French Federation of Landscape Architects (FFP).
