The countdown to the Holidays has begun, and everyone is eager to get into the festive spirit. Offering a variety of free activities for all ages, this initiative reinforces ROYALMOUNT’s position as a must-visit destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment throughout the festive season.
Here’s what awaits you at ROYALMOUNT this winter:
Opening of the skating rink
The open-air skating rink opens in December and will be accessible daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission is free for everyone. Located at the heart of the 77,000-square-foot urban park, it is surrounded by beautifully lit trees and some of the city’s best gourmet spots.
Bring your skates or rent them on-site and enjoy an unforgettable winter moment at ROYALMOUNT.
Festive musical sessions at ROYALMOUNT
Enjoy a series of live concerts open to the public to celebrate the Holiday season. Three unique evenings will showcase guest artists with intimate 35-minute performances—stripped down, acoustic, and centered around vocals.
December 4 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. in front of the Wishing Bear
Special Guest: Caroline Vreeland – Kick off the season with Caroline’s mesmerizing jazz voice, accompanied by the gentle tones of a grand piano.
December 11 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. in front of the Wishing Bear
Special Guest: Let yourself be carried away by the warmth and charm of Lauryn Kovacs, who will perform some of her favorite acoustic songs on guitar.
December 18 at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. in front of the Wishing Bear
Special Guest: Gabriella Laberge – Conclude the series with Gabriella’s enchanting violin performance, blending emotion and elegance for a captivating Holiday finale.
Nutcracker Ballet Performance at ROYALMOUNT
Experience the magic of the Holidays with a performance of The Nutcracker, presented by the students of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec and the musicians of the Université de Montréal Jazz Band. This family-friendly show brings the timeless story to life in the heart of ROYALMOUNT.
December 6 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in front of the Wishing Bear
Drone Light Show & DJ Set at ROYALMOUNT
A family-friendly event that promises to amaze: get ready to be captivated as the night sky lights up with a drone show accompanied by live DJ music. Please note: skate rentals will be free for this event!
December 13 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Drone show at 8 p.m.)
