CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION:
The Red Cross of Tijuana needed to promote its donation campaign and provide information to children, teenagers, elementary schools, schools, and colleges.
The Red Cross collection container (Bote in Spanish) is unmistakable. Since the donations in that container sustain the Red Cross and, in a way, give life to the Red Cross, we created a campaign in which the collection container comes to life every time people donate.
We developed a 3D character with friends, such as an ambulance, a blood bag, and medicines. We named our character Beto, derived from the word Bote, which means container in Spanish and is short for Alberto, and a widespread name in Mexico.
The character became so popular that he is now the spokesperson for the Red Cross of Tijuana. The community has fun with him, gets informed about the Red Cross of Tijuana’s communication, and donations have increased.
The “Your life may depend on it” teaser means a well-equipped Red Cross may provide excellent care and introduce Beto, the new Red Cross mascot who comes to life with every donation.
The Corporate Commercial explains that a well-equipped Red Cross will provide excellent care and introduces Beto, the new Red Cross mascot who comes to life with every donation.

3D POSTER
We also designed a 3D poster for kids so that you can see it with anaglyphic (red and blue) glasses. The poster is included with our submission.
Note to jurors:
This design requires 3D anaglyphic (red and blue) glasses to be seen in its fully intended format and for the whole experience. Please email us at arielfreaner@freaner.com with “Print 3D Glasses” in the subject line. I will gladly send free 3D anaglyphic (red and blue) glasses.
