The Musique des Oiseaux is a wind chime designed for the Mount Sutton forest. Cleverly suspended over 6 meters from the ground, the reddish-orange nest-like structure is clearly perceptible in all seasons. The ensemble comprises 36 stainless steel and aluminum birds in 3 different sizes, some of which are perforated to vary the frequency range. All suspended and precisely positioned, they pivot in the breeze of the tall trees. By striking each other, they create constantly renewed sounds. This work was created by designer-sculptor Rémi Théberge with the musical collaboration of guitarist Sacha Trudel , the financial support of Arts à la Montagne under the responsibility of Claude Gagnon and Mont Sutton’s general manager, Mr. Jean -Michel Ryan.
