Ginette CARON
Ginette Caron’s work grows through lightness and playful poetry, digging into the very essence of the question to create unexpected communication systems. She has a multidisciplinary vision that ranges from Visual Identity, Archigraphica, Packaging, Exhibit, Editorial up to Product Design, though maintaining unchanged her extremely refined design approach.
Among her clients, Bulgari, Knoll, Moleskine, Swatch and Vatican. Her projects have been published, exhibited and awarded internationally.
Ginette Caron was born in Montréal; she graduated at Concordia University and worked for a few years before heading to Italy. She lived in Bologna and Venice before settling in Milan where she founded her studio Ginette Caron Communication Design in the eighties.
During her career, she has been in-house design director at Benetton and Prada. Groups. Speaker at design conferences and member of international jury boards, she has been teaching for 5 years in Venice at IUAV University and she teaches presently at Raffles-Milano. She is continuously active with lectures and workshops to foster design excellence in Canada, China, Cyprus, England, France, India, Italy, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Turkey
