The Visual Voice Gallery (VVG) is a contemporary exhibition that establishes a connection between art and science. This project aimed to design a new identity to create more links between artistic and scientific elements. The flexibility of the new identity allows for variety, while also making the design more dynamic. The bold and serious “Raleway Black” font refers to something related to science. Because of its nature, this logo is in solid black. Since science and art are both powerful tools, the best colour to present this aspect is black, which is associated with strength, authority and power. In addition, the shape of the logo resembles an eye, while the space between the two letters “V” resembles a gallery, referring to the artistic aspect. The visual potential of the horizontal letter “V” creates a simple yet graphically powerful form. The geometric shape gives the logo a modern look and makes it resemble an art gallery in contemporary times. The new identity is more closely linked to science and art, in line with the gallery’s core mission. The development of the logo is based on the grid system. The calculation and division of the logo into moving parts gives the brand a kinetic characteristic that makes it highly flexible for presenting a variety of concepts for different exhibitions.
