I’ve been a professional journalist for 30 years, dedicating my work to the themes of design, architecture and cultural and creative production.

I run DESIGN MAGAZINE, founded in 2011, a digital focussed on design, architecture and the cultural and creative industries.

I’m working as a professional journalist for 30 years and I’m the director of Lisbon based DESIGN MAGAZINE, a news website focused on design, architecture, creative and cultural industries.

I’ve been involved in many and different work related with design and with the dissemination of design culture in Portugal and abroad. I was director of the iF representative office in Portugal -for the iF International Forum Design-; Design For Europe Ambassador under a policy co-funded by the European Union; Director of Communication for the National Portuguese Designers Association.

I’ve been invited as juror of several international design competitions like iF Design Award (Germany); Brazil Design Award (Brazil); DuPont International Design Competition (Switzerland); Reciprocity Design Liège Les Nouveux Objets (Belgium); Buildner Architecture Competitions (International).

I’ve also been invited to international summit and bienalle related with creative and cultural industries.

In all my work and activities my focus is good design and playing an active role spreading design culture.

In 2022 I was the author and editor of the monograph “Rodrigo Costa – A Luz. Above all, the Light…”, on the Portuguese painter and author, presented at the Soares dos Reis National Museum in Porto, in an event co-produced by the publisher K innovative diffuser and the museum, with the institutional support of the Portuguese Republic (Culture), Património Cultural and the Soares dos Reis National Museum.
