The Jack Flat BBQ project, designed by Les Coupables design studio, reimagines the concept of gathering around the barbecue, boldly merging the wild spirit of the American West with unparalleled conviviality.
An immersive experience: Transforming 6,500 square feet of Mediterranean-styled space, Jack Flat BBQ becomes a sanctuary of authenticity and Honky Tonk tradition. With a continually operating maple wood smoker—a first in North America—guests enjoy a unique visual and olfactory experience, watching the meat smoke before their eyes.
A décor that tells stories: From taxidermied animals to carefully selected vintage treasures, every element of the décor invites adventure and discovery. The mural of Jack in cowboy attire and the restaurant’s emblematic gorilla hidden among the details create a space where curiosity and art converge.
Flexibility and a warm atmosphere: The adaptable layout of spaces and meticulously designed lighting ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere, conducive to family gatherings and dance evenings.
Jack Flat BBQ not only stands out for its unique ambiance and technical innovations; it sets a new standard in customer experience, flexibility, and cultural integration. This nomination highlights an exemplary achievement that celebrates country heritage and the art of barbecue with passion and ingenuity, establishing Jack Flat BBQ as an emblematic and pioneering project in the Quebec interior design landscape for dining.
