Discipline : Interior Design

Categories : Other categories in interior design / Unclassified Category in Interior Design : Bronze Certification

The project is located in Jingyu County, Baishan City, Jilin Province.Jingyu County, formerly known as Mengjiang County, was renamed Jingyu County in 1946 to commemorate the martyrdom of Yang Jingyu, the commander in chief of the Northeast China Democratic Anti-Japanese Allied Army and the national hero. After the base is completed, it will integrate the anti-Japanese education with Jingyu tourism, improve the attraction of Baishan tourism at home and abroad, and promote the revitalization and development of Jingyu County, Baishan City. The education base has five major functional orientations, including learning and training, accommodation and reception, large conferences, literary and artistic performances, and group building activities. It constructs the education community of the project from six aspects, namely, red education in the whole region, national cultural education, frontier national defense education, geological science popularization education, green ecological education, and ice and snow sports education.
The whole project is inspired by red culture, Baishan heritage and green development.Northeast China has strong regional cultural characteristics. It extracts elements rich in northeast China’s characteristics from traditional architectural culture and folk culture, and applies them to space design to propagate regional cultural characteristics and reflect local traditional features. In terms of element extraction, the landscape paintings of Changbai Mountain are also presented in the form of wall reliefs or giant pictures to show the atmospheric cultural space of Changbai Mountain, and the elements of snow and mountain are applied to the interior decoration, which further highlights the characteristics of Changbai Mountain.
