With less than 40 square meters, the project has to meet the daily needs of three generations living together. So, the choice of function must ensure the quality of life. Especially in the post-epidemic era, comfort and nature are returning to the public’s vision. The long time at home gives people enough time to look at the present and think about how to live on themselves and live with life. People living a fast-paced life slow down, hoping to enjoy a moment of tranquility at home in the city.
Therefore, the layout design focuses on the bedroom, a habitat for people to unload their burdens and relax physically and mentally, soothing exhaustion here. The bedroom uses natural and warm tones to return to nature, and the transparent window perceives the four seasons. The soft light is shattered by the gauze curtain and sprinkled by the window, making the dweller calm down to feel the flow of the wind and enjoy quiet time alone. The children’s room has bunk beds, and the desk fits the height of the child.
The overall tone is simple and bright, with the warm wood texture as the background. Such a natural material without decoration has a sense of intimacy. The space is breathable through proper blank space. The clear and clean color peacefully blends with the material, outlining a sense of warmth, simplicity, and elegance.
The U-shaped kitchen presents the appearance of happiness, containing delicate delicacies and precious moments with family. The dining space continues the wood grain texture floor and the overall white atmosphere, which is clean and tidy. The cleverly arranged storage hides the mess in the cabinet, presenting a clean and refreshing atmosphere.
