To reconcile utility and design….
For too long, boot storage in the entryway has been the most overlooked aspect for designers and architects during new construction or remodeling. However, the customer experience begins as soon as they arrive in a new environment. Is it for lack of effective or elegant solutions? Here is Ana’s experience…
Ana drops off her children Victoria and Samuel at daycare. She likes to use the Rakabot mobile mudroom in the hallway because it allows her children to keep their socks dry until they put on their shoes. They are already in contact with a lot of germs, we are trying to avoid another flu!
She then goes to her work, an architect’s office and puts her boots in the Rakabot Signature in the entrance. Before the acquisition of the Rakabots, the piling up of boots on the ground made arriving and leaving work really unpleasant. Ana is proud that the product is a local invention and 100% locally made.
At lunchtime, she goes to the gym near her work and uses a Commercial Rakabot to place her boots there. When registering, she noticed the cleanliness and safety of the premises with dry and clean floors in the locker room. This is what made her sign an annual agreement rather than with the competitor across the street. To her surprise, she notices that her soles are dry after her hour of training.
Back home, she sits on the Rakabot Moderno bench which allows her to unfasten her boots while sliding them under the bench. She appreciates its modern and minimalist look as much as its practical side.
Finally, her husband Marco comes back from work early. He puts his work boots in a plastic Rakabot in the garage, a low-cost storage solution that is easy to wash and keeps shoes and boots dry.
