«Contemporary Collection» is a body of wall art that has been merchandised in the form of prestige scarves. The promotional images in both the Catalog and Online Store are presented in contemporary settings.
Visual artist Susan St. Laurent has professional experience in painting and digital imaging that has been recognized with twenty awards and peer recognition. She combines mixed media techniques with camera, computer, digital tablet and acrylic paint. Her field of practice is to produce non-figurative artworks of contemporary style.
In late 2022, the artist designed and launched a new collection of prestige scarves bearing her colorfully patterned digital artworks; the product was immediately marketed by «Carré des Artistes Art Gallery» in Montreal, while in March 2023, the collection had 16 models of scarves in circulation and a second partner business as a point of sale.
New promotional tools
The promotional tools developed by the artist are: a digital-format portfolio, an online store and a brand image featuring wall art and matching scarves in contemporary settings on an equal footing.
To achieve this strategy, a professional photo shoot was conducted with three models; this was organized by artist Susan St. Laurent, while the shoot was directed by photographer Denis Lavoie.
