This decanter for distilled drinks is a multi-layered crystal piece fully handmade. It is inspired by European culture showcasing a random/detailed cut on the outside “mantle” that allows us to sneak peek the inside container through the mantle’s openings.
The base idea was to celebrate the “Europe’s father” Charles Magno by creating a luxury piece with strong presence, while at the same time encourage us to look at our history in a critical way. Being a luxury piece intended for high-end drinks, the piece creates a protective layer for the nectar inside allowing the user to appreciate the colour of the liquid, both distorted by the pattern cut and through the clear container.
