Son nom d\u00e9coule d\u2019un prototype reproductible \u00e0 source ouverte et d\u2019une \u00e9tude hybride sur le bois de masse pour aider la Colombie-Britannique \u00e0 r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les \u00e9missions de carbone tout au long de son cycle de vie, tout en s&#39;attaquant \u00e0 la crise du logement abordable \u00e0 Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p>L&#39;un des objectifs du prototype (M5) est de trouver le moyen le plus efficace de r\u00e9duire le carbone op\u00e9rationnel et incorpor\u00e9, et de compenser le carbone r\u00e9siduel avec des cr\u00e9dits carbone gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une centrale \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de quartier, et en veillant \u00e0 ce que l&#39;investissement ait le plus grand impact sur la r\u00e9duction de carbone. La durabilit\u00e9 va encore plus loin avec un stationnement z\u00e9ro, encourageant la marche, le v\u00e9lo et les transports en commun. Des installations cyclables soutiendront une culture active dans tout le b\u00e2timent, y compris la conception d\u2019un hall d&#39;accueil d\u00e9di\u00e9 au v\u00e9lo, des \u0153uvres d&#39;art et un caf\u00e9 v\u00e9lo.<\/p>\n<p>En rempla\u00e7ant le stationnement, Prototype (M5) am\u00e9liore \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un quartier dynamique, s\u00e9curitaire et actif \u00e0 toute heure de la journ\u00e9e.
