Inspired by the surrounding rail and road networks, STUDIOS Architecture imagined a dynamic undulating facade with ribbons that bring an organic dimension to its very urban and mineral setting.<br \/>\nVisibility and access were significantly improved through two key interventions: a 32m extension has been added to the existing office building resulting in a 120m long fa\u00e7ade along the overpass. The reconversion of the former car park into a dynamic and interactive ever evolving ground-floor has extended the base to 175m creating a smooth transition to the low-rise residential area beyond.<br \/>\nThe former car park has been transformed into a transparent and vibrant space with double and triple height volumes, culminating at nearly 11m under a skylight at the heart of the building. This active area allows a connection between the street and the property and serves as the main entrance to the site, signaled and protected by a large canopy opening up to the plaza.<br \/>\nThe newly created plaza, fitted out by Paris La D\u00e9fense and co-designed with STUDIOS Architecture, echoes the facade&#39;s organic volumes, improving accessibility. The double-height lobby invites you to enter the service-driven interior street offering a multitude of daily experiences. Son parking en superstructure offrait un d\u00e9cor aust\u00e8re marquant une v\u00e9ritable barri\u00e8re urbaine.<br \/>\nL\u2019ambition de Latitude : cr\u00e9er un ensemble immobilier iconique de 22 300 m\u00b2 de bureaux et services imposant avec sa signature architecturale et offrant une nouvelle porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e embl\u00e9matique, depuis le boulevard circulaire de Courbevoie.<br \/>\nGr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une architecture ouverte et une nouvelle identit\u00e9 reconnaissable, Latitude donne une impulsion avec son \u00e9criture tout en courbes qui se d\u00e9marque dans un paysage min\u00e9ral o\u00f9 les droites dominent. Inspir\u00e9s par sa situation au c\u0153ur de r\u00e9seaux ferr\u00e9s et routiers, les architectes ont imagin\u00e9 une fa\u00e7ade ondul\u00e9e par une vague sur laquelle des rubans dessinent un flux dynamique, \u00e9cho aux mouvements alentours, apportant une dimension organique \u00e0 ce cadre tr\u00e8s urbain.<br \/>\nRepensant totalement le site et ses acc\u00e8s, GCI et STUDIOS Architecture recr\u00e9ent un morceau de ville brisant les fronti\u00e8res territoriales, sociales et architecturales et proposent une v\u00e9ritable destination.<br \/>\nA la proue du b\u00e2timent, une extension de 32 m cr\u00e9e une nouvelle volum\u00e9trie liant l\u2019immeuble au parking s\u00e9par\u00e9 par le boulevard circulaire. Cette extension produit une \u00e9chelle humaine dans ce contexte domin\u00e9 par la verticalit\u00e9.<br \/>\nLe parking sous le boulevard circulaire est requalifi\u00e9 en un socle dynamique et accueillant avec des volumes en double et triple hauteur, culminant \u00e0 11 m : nouvelle connexion entre la rue et l'immeuble avec une entr\u00e9e principale sous un large auvent et une entr\u00e9e d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 une zone ERP.<br \/>\nLa terrasse accessible en R+2 et les toitures v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9es et paysag\u00e9es am\u00e9liorent l\u2019exp\u00e9rience visuelle ainsi que l\u2019impact de l\u2019immeuble dans son environnement.<br \/>\nLe parvis reprend l\u2019\u00e9criture tout en courbes de la fa\u00e7ade et offre des espaces propices aux rencontres et \u00e9changes. Demonstrating design leadership and innovation-driven technical and programmatic prowess, this challenging redevelopment of a 1970s office building is an ode to the human-scale campus.<br \/>\nSet in a singular urban environment, between the railway and the ring road overpass, the former \u201cBerkeley\u201d building and its above-ground car park have been transformed into a 22 300sqm office and services, becoming a real destination. Guided by movement, transparency and generous volumes, Latitude stands out with its dynamic and welcoming horizontality. A landmark destination that speaks to new generations and is set to attract and retain talents, searching for a more holistic work experience.<br \/>\nLatitude transforms the area with its unique fa\u00e7ade, surprising in a landscape dominated by straight lines and high-rise towers. Inspired by the surrounding rail and road networks, STUDIOS Architecture imagined a dynamic undulating facade with ribbons that bring an organic dimension to its very urban and mineral setting.<br \/>\nVisibility and access were significantly improved through two key interventions: a 32m extension has been added to the existing office building resulting in a 120m long fa\u00e7ade along the overpass. The reconversion of the former car park into a dynamic and interactive ever evolving ground-floor has extended the base to 175m creating a smooth transition to the low-rise residential area beyond.<br \/>\nThe former car park has been transformed into a transparent and vibrant space with double and triple height volumes, culminating at nearly 11m under a skylight at the heart of the building. This active area allows a connection between the street and the property and serves as the main entrance to the site, signaled and protected by a large canopy opening up to the plaza.<br \/>\nThe newly created plaza, fitted out by Paris La D\u00e9fense and co-designed with STUDIOS Architecture, echoes the facade's organic volumes, improving accessibility. The double-height lobby invites you to enter the service-driven interior street offering a multitude of daily experiences. The diversity of food and beverage destinations (atrium bar, food hall\/salad bar, brasserie, grab&go, coffee-bar) are designed to eat, live, work and socialize throughout the day, able to serve as alternative workspaces, ideation rooms and reception areas.<br \/>\nThe transformed highly flexible light-filled floorplates \u2013 extended from 1 800 to 2 200 sqm each, over 8 floors \u2013 offer expansive views of the city and, by overcoming technical and structural challenges, have increased the uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling height to 2.70 m. The total capacity of the property has been increased in order to accommodate 2 000 people.<br \/>\nSustainability, performance and wellbeing were strong guiding principles and the property aims to reach HQE Exceptional, BREEAM Excellent, Effinergie +, Well V2 and Wiredscore Platinum.
