In 2011, it took a bold turn and decided to focus its activities and efforts solely on mobile, making it one of the first companies of its kind in North America. The goal of the project was clear: showcase the uplifting experience of working at Ludia. The logo, for example, thoughtfully mimics the shape of a mobile phone. The identity also features a typographic approach that embodies play while the imagery unifies Ludia\u2019s different aesthetics with a dance of light and shadow. The colours of the palette, for their part, transmit the glow from a mobile screen. The effect is repeated both in the brand image and architecture through backlighting, acting as a link tying several brand elements together.<\/p>\n<p>The brand work quickly grew to include the employee experience through a redesign of the workspaces undertaken by the lg2 Architecture team. A creative playground for Ludia\u2019s people, the new offices reflect the strategic and graphic thinking behind the branding: vibrant, creative and confident. Inspired by contrasts that create shapes and contours, the brand\u2019s principle directions are found throughout the physical space.<\/p>\n<p>The visual identity includes a broad palette of bold colours \u2013 fire, honey, lavender, mint, forest, magenta, peach, violet, turquoise and lemon \u2013 that are expressed in various materials such as wood, metal, glass, felt, leather and fabric. The entire space represents a thoughtful and detailed pairing of all elements, from the custom-made furniture to the colour of the ceramic grout. The resulting ambience, where the steel structures of the furniture and lighting fixtures \u2013 matched to the brand\u2019s colour palette \u2013 play off the transparency of the glass and the opacity of the felt curtains, creates a personalized, immersive experience.<\/p>\n<p>The walls feature a visual representation of the company\u2019s greatest successes, accenting the physical environment with further well-chosen colours while reinforcing a sense of belonging. The signage in the various meeting rooms features the games\u2019 names and uses the same graphic language developed specifically for the brand.
