Pour faire face \u00e0 cette situation, on met en place un programme visant \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des milieux favorables aux pi\u00e9tons, et dans le cadre de ce programme, le Boulevard Puteri Harbour doit \u00eatre transform\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ins\u00e9rer zones pi\u00e9tonnes de 4 \u00e0 8 m\u00e8tres de large, places et abris, et ce,  de part et d\u2019autre des voies de circulation.<br \/>\nLe concept g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Boulevard Puteri Harbour s&#39;inspire des fils entrelac\u00e9s d&#39;un motif de tissage. Ainsi, trois fils conceptuels sont entrelac\u00e9s pour former le r\u00e9seau complet des zones pi\u00e9tonnes du boulevard et cr\u00e9er une interface subtile dans toute la ville.<br \/>\nLe premier fil est un fil v\u00e9g\u00e9talis\u00e9, compos\u00e9e d&#39;arbres, tels le Peltophorum pterocarpum, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour leur caract\u00e8re indig\u00e8ne et leur large canop\u00e9e.
