ce duplex d\u00e9tach\u00e9 du quartier Rosemont, les propri\u00e9taires voulaient transformer le rez-de-chauss\u00e9e et le demi-sous-sol pour en faire leur maison. <\/p>\n<p>Espace et lumi\u00e8re<br \/>\nOn cherchait d\u2019abord \u00e0 r\u00e9organiser le cloisonnement afin d\u2019obtenir des circulations fluides, des espaces bien proportionn\u00e9s, d\u00e9gag\u00e9s et apaisants.<br \/>\nDe nouvelles ouvertures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites dans les murs ext\u00e9rieurs afin d\u2019illuminer l\u2019espace toute la journ\u00e9e. Le plancher du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert sur le sous-sol afin de cr\u00e9er un espace \u00e0 double hauteur pour le nouvel escalier, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la continuit\u00e9 entre les deux niveaux.<br \/>\nL\u2019\u00e9clairage a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi tant d\u2019un point de vue fonctionnel, que pour l\u2019ambiance qu\u2019il peut cr\u00e9er et aussi pour la beaut\u00e9 de l\u2019objet lui-m\u00eame dans l\u2019espace.<br \/>\nPour ce projet, nous avons ont con\u00e7u plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments de mobilier int\u00e9gr\u00e9 qui r\u00e9pondent aux besoins des clients au quotidien. <\/p>\n<p>Mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9<br \/>\nDans ce projet, un grand soin est port\u00e9 aux d\u00e9tails et aux choix des mati\u00e8res. Le ch\u00eane blanc, le b\u00e9ton poli et les panneaux laqu\u00e9s blanc ou anthracite sont les principaux mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s.<br \/>\nD\u2019autres mat\u00e9riaux viennent s\u2019ajouter \u00e0 la palette du projet comme les appareils d\u2019\u00e9clairage en laiton qui viennent marqu\u00e9s des espaces ou la mosa\u00efque de marbre  qui recouvre les surfaces de la salle de bain du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e.<br \/>\nUne continuit\u00e9 des mati\u00e8res \u00e0 travers la maison contribue, elle aussi, \u00e0 une impression de fluidit\u00e9 entre les espaces, de clart\u00e9 et de coh\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n","en":"<p>In this detached duplex of the Rosemont district, the owners wanted to transform the ground floor and the semi-basement to make it their home. <\/p>\n<p>Space and light<br \/>\nWe first sought to reorganize the partitions to obtain fluid circulations and spaces that are well-proportioned, clean, and uncluttered.<br \/>\nNew openings have been made in the exterior walls to illuminate the space at any time of the day. We also opened the floor to create a large double-height space for the new staircase, thus reinforcing the continuity between the two levels.<br \/>\nThe lighting has also been thought from a functional point of view but also for the ambience it can create and also for the beauty of the object itself in space.<br \/>\nFor this project, we have designed several elements of integrated furniture that meet the needs of the clients in their daily activities. <\/p>\n<p>Materiality<br \/>\nGreat care is taken in details and in the choice of materials. In this project, white oak, polished concrete and white or anthracite lacquered panels are the main materials used.<br \/>\nOther materials are added to the palette of the project such as the brass light fixtures that mark the spaces or the marble mosaic that covers the surfaces of the first floor bathroom.<br \/>\nA continuity of materials throughout the house also contributes to an impression of fluidity between the spaces.<\/p>\n","original":""},"jury_text":[{"category":188,"fr":"<p>Dans ce duplex d\u00e9tach\u00e9 du quartier Rosemont, les propri\u00e9taires voulaient transformer le rez-de-chauss\u00e9e et le demi-sous-sol pour en faire leur maison. <\/p>\n<p>Espace et lumi\u00e8re<br \/>\nOn cherchait d\u2019abord \u00e0 r\u00e9organiser le cloisonnement afin d\u2019obtenir des circulations fluides, des espaces bien proportionn\u00e9s, d\u00e9gag\u00e9s et apaisants.<br \/>\nDe nouvelles ouvertures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites dans les murs ext\u00e9rieurs afin d\u2019illuminer l\u2019espace toute la journ\u00e9e. Le plancher du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert sur le sous-sol afin de cr\u00e9er un espace \u00e0 double hauteur pour le nouvel escalier, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la continuit\u00e9 entre les deux niveaux.<br \/>\nL\u2019\u00e9clairage a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi tant d\u2019un point de vue fonctionnel, que pour l\u2019ambiance qu\u2019il peut cr\u00e9er et aussi pour la beaut\u00e9 de l\u2019objet lui-m\u00eame dans l\u2019espace.<br \/>\nPour ce projet, nous avons ont con\u00e7u plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments de mobilier int\u00e9gr\u00e9 qui r\u00e9pondent aux besoins des clients au quotidien. <\/p>\n<p>Mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9<br \/>\nDans ce projet, un grand soin est port\u00e9 aux d\u00e9tails et aux choix des mati\u00e8res. Le ch\u00eane blanc, le b\u00e9ton poli et les panneaux laqu\u00e9s blanc ou anthracite sont les principaux mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s.<br \/>\nD\u2019autres mat\u00e9riaux viennent s\u2019ajouter \u00e0 la palette du projet comme les appareils d\u2019\u00e9clairage en laiton qui viennent marqu\u00e9s des espaces ou la mosa\u00efque de marbre  qui recouvre les surfaces de la salle de bain du rez-de-chauss\u00e9e.<br \/>\nUne continuit\u00e9 des mati\u00e8res \u00e0 travers la maison contribue, elle aussi, \u00e0 une impression de fluidit\u00e9 entre les espaces, de clart\u00e9 et de coh\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n","en":"<p>In this detached duplex of the Rosemont district, the owners wanted to transform the ground floor and the semi-basement to make it their home. <\/p>\n<p>Space and light<br \/>\nWe first sought to reorganize the partitions to obtain fluid circulations and spaces that are well-proportioned, clean, and uncluttered.<br \/>\nNew openings have been made in the exterior walls to illuminate the space at any time of the day. We also opened the floor to create a large double-height space for the new staircase, thus reinforcing the continuity between the two levels.<br \/>\nThe lighting has also been thought from a functional point of view but also for the ambience it can create and also for the beauty of the object itself in space.<br \/>\nFor this project, we have designed several elements of integrated furniture that meet the needs of the clients in their daily activities. <\/p>\n<p>Materiality<br \/>\nGreat care is taken in details and in the choice of materials.
