Bien que la masse architecturale de base ait laiss\u00e9 un \u00a0\u00bb jardin sur le toit \u00a0\u00bb central, les architectes n’avaient pas pr\u00e9vu que l’ensemble du syst\u00e8me CVC du projet soit situ\u00e9 dans la m\u00eame zone. Par cons\u00e9quent, BAM s’est plong\u00e9 dans les rouages du syst\u00e8me m\u00e9canique afin d’acheminer les conduits et de placer les \u00e9quipements de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 faciliter les exigences de profondeur du sol d’un jardin de toit vivant. Des jardini\u00e8res sur\u00e9lev\u00e9es ont permis de planter des bandes de Pennisetum, Hylotelephium, et d’autres esp\u00e8ces tol\u00e9rantes \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse.<br \/>\nLe r\u00e9sultat de l’implication de BAM dans la conception du projet est la cr\u00e9ation de plus de 20 zones de programme d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux nombreux besoins des utilisateurs. The density of the architectural mass, the fire lanes and emergency platforms, the subway station, and underground utilities created a ground plane condition that suggested a desert of paving. BAM worked with civil engineers to create pockets of space that could support not only ground covers but over 180 canopy trees.<br \/>\nBAM reorganized the roof deck of the project to feature a landscape. Although the basic architectural massing left a central \u2018roof garden\u2019, the architects had not planned for the entire HVAC system of the project to be located in the same area. Consequently, BAM delved into the workings of the mechanical system to route ducts and place equipment in a manner that could facilitate the soil depth requirements of a living roof garden. La densit\u00e9 de la masse architecturale, les voies d’incendie et les plates-formes de secours, la station de m\u00e9tro et les services publics souterrains ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 une condition de plan de sol qui sugg\u00e9rait un d\u00e9sert de pavage. BAM a travaill\u00e9 avec des ing\u00e9nieurs civils pour cr\u00e9er des poches d’espace pouvant accueillir non seulement des plantes mais aussi plus de 180 arbres.<br \/>\nBAM a r\u00e9organis\u00e9 le toit-terrasse du projet pour y am\u00e9nager un paysage. Bien que la masse architecturale de base ait laiss\u00e9 un \u00a0\u00bb jardin sur le toit \u00a0\u00bb central, les architectes n’avaient pas pr\u00e9vu que l’ensemble du syst\u00e8me CVC du projet soit situ\u00e9 dans la m\u00eame zone. Par cons\u00e9quent, BAM s’est plong\u00e9 dans les rouages du syst\u00e8me m\u00e9canique afin d’acheminer les conduits et de placer les \u00e9quipements de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 faciliter les exigences de profondeur du sol d’un jardin de toit vivant. Des jardini\u00e8res sur\u00e9lev\u00e9es ont permis de planter des bandes de Pennisetum, Hylotelephium, et d’autres esp\u00e8ces tol\u00e9rantes \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse.<br \/>\nLe r\u00e9sultat de l’implication de BAM dans la conception du projet est la cr\u00e9ation de plus de 20 zones de programme d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux nombreux besoins des utilisateurs. Ces zones comprennent un fumoir en plein air, un coin pour la pratique du skateboard, un terrain de basket-ball, une aire de jeux \u00ab\u00a0cheese wall\u00a0\u00bb pour les enfants, et des terrasses de bureaux en forme de jardins suspendus aux coins triangulaires de la tour.<\/p>\n","en":"<p>The Shoukai Vanke Daxing Center shows the value landscape can offer dense urban office-centric mixed-use blocks, and a glimpse of important new role landscape plays within the workspaces of the future.<br \/>\nBAM worked against great odds to create a place for the landscape in the project. The density of the architectural mass, the fire lanes and emergency platforms, the subway station, and underground utilities created a ground plane condition that suggested a desert of paving. BAM worked with civil engineers to create pockets of space that could support not only ground covers but over 180 canopy trees.<br \/>\nBAM reorganized the roof deck of the project to feature a landscape. Although the basic architectural massing left a central \u2018roof garden\u2019, the architects had not planned for the entire HVAC system of the project to be located in the same area. Consequently, BAM delved into the workings of the mechanical system to route ducts and place equipment in a manner that could facilitate the soil depth requirements of a living roof garden. Raised planters enabled to plant stripes of Pennisetum, Hylotelephium, and other drought tolerant species.<br \/>\nThe result of BAM\u2019s \u2018elbowing in\u2019 to the project design is the creation of over 20 program zones dedicated to the many needs of the users.
