La premi\u00e8re intervention a redu au vestibule son esprit initial, afin d\u2019estomper la limite visuelle entre l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur et l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du Hall. Les surfaces nobles du Hall ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en valeur par de nouvelles technologies d\u2019\u00e9clairage. L\u2019ambiance lumineuse \u00e9volue subtilement afin d\u2019accompagner la lumi\u00e8re naturelle et ses cycles quotidiens, transformant l\u2019espace statique en espace dynamique. S+P a am\u00e9nag\u00e9 de grands jardins sur la Plaza, s\u2019inspirant des formes du marbre du plancher du Hall: le Verde de Seravezza. Les sillons et les changements de couleur pr\u00e9sents dans la pierre inspirent la d\u00e9termination des zones plant\u00e9es, les d\u00e9nivellations du terrain, la direction des chemins et la forme des bancs sur lesquels les visiteurs peuvent appr\u00e9cier le jardin. S + P has worked on several important elements of these public spaces in order to create a coherent and timeless architectural continuity. The first intervention restored the vestibule to its original spirit, blurring the visual boundary between outside and inside the Hall. The noble surfaces of the Hall have been enhanced by new lighting technologies. The luminous atmosphere subtly evolves to accompany natural light and its daily cycles, transforming static space into dynamic space. S + P has laid out large gardens in the Plaza, taking inspiration from the marble shapes of the Hall floor: the Verde de Seravezza. The furrows and color changes present in the stone inspire the determination of the planted areas, the unevenness of the land, the direction of the paths and the shape of the benches on which visitors can appreciate the garden. Finally, it was essential to bring more natural light to the lower floors and to create a better interrelation between the floors. The materiality of these objects favored continuity and nourished the architectural identity of the place. The telephone sets, the security counter, the staircase and its chandelier are all specific elements that served to qualify the sub-spaces as well as the modes of occupation of this great luminous void. S + P has developed a common language for a series of new objects in addition to those that have been modified. These objects have generated micro-spaces that act as islands of activity. They allow users to inhabit the space but also to give a clear and distinctive image to Place-Victoria. These interventions are among the key elements used to reposition this iconic building. The reception &#8211; The purpose of the reception is revisited: Its shape is greatly simplified and lightened: it essentially becomes a large dark marble counter. A line of light above makes it easy to locate. The Arts &#8211; Two micro-spaces are dedicated to art and allow the installation of suspended works. The object dedicated to art is an object composed of reconfigurable surfaces allowing the installation of works in alternation and is equipped with a cross of light on the ceiling. Les suspensions g\u00e9om\u00e9triques du Hall (en forme de croix, de carr\u00e9, de cercle et de forme lin\u00e9aire), sont d\u2019expression minimaliste, faites sur mesure pour r\u00e9duire la quantit\u00e9 de fils et de supports apparents. La jonction entre les c\u00e2bles en acier et le grand plafond de mosa\u00efque est dissimul\u00e9e par des disques profil\u00e9s. Il est aussi important de mentionner le grand lustre en verre de Venini. Con\u00e7u par l\u2019architecte Moretti, il occupe une place centrale dans la composition du projet, faisant un lien visuel entre le RDC et les 2 niveaux souterrains. De nouveaux \u00e9l\u00e9ments de verre souffl\u00e9 artisanal ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produits et le tout a \u00e9t\u00e9 converti en sources lumineuse DEL \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n","en":"<p>For all of the lighting interventions in the Hall at Place-Victoria, a major effort was made to conceal the lighting equipment in the architecture. The CS Design team worked on manufacturing custom lighting accessories to hide direct views of light sources, and to repair existing openings. The aim was to highlight the great volumetric gestures of the architecture, without emphasizing the luminaries themselves. The Hall\u2019s geometric pendant lights (cross, square, circle and linear) are minimalist in expression, tailor-made to reduce the amount of wires and exposed supports. The junction between the steel cables and the large mosaic ceiling is concealed by profiled discs. Thanks to the discreet holes, the cables join a structural steel frame hidden in the ceiling. It is also important to mention the large Venini glass chandelier. Designed by the architect Moretti, it occupies a central place in the composition of the project, making a visual link between the ground floor and the 2 underground levels. Thanks to meticulous documentation and restoration work, the chandelier has been restored to its original configuration.
