To limit the appearance of massiveness in a high-density project, the architects played with rhythm, movement, and forms to bring lightness to the overall concept. The articulation of the upper volumetry maximizes the natural light intake into the heart of the project\u2019s interior space throughout the day, while the irregular shapes of the facades ensure visual breakthroughs towards the courtyard and park.<\/p>\n<p>The monochrome color scheme is timeless and will allow for complete harmonization with the numerous green spaces integrated into the project. The bricks will be arranged in a gradient on the pale-colored facades to provide finesse to the overall masonry. The integration and superimposition of bronze-colored metallic materials will add nobility to the architecture and brighten up the common living spaces thanks to the reflections of natural light. A combination of elements expressing balance, dynamism, and uniqueness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Integrated landscaping with a historical touch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Momento project site is located along the former path of the Molson Creek, named after the Montreal brewing family whose old agricultural lands the creek used to flow through. Buried during the industrialization of the area at the beginning of the century, the trajectory of this creek serves as a starting point in creating a pedestrian connection throughout the site, while also providing a unique identity rooted in the natural heritage of the location.<\/p>\n<p>In the interior courtyard, an interpretive path of the former creek has been developed. The use of two colors of circular concrete slabs allows for the organic creation of a transverse passage reminiscent of the former creek.
