Avec son noyau d\u00e9centr\u00e9, elle offre un c\u0153ur de vie, baign\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re naturelle, \u00e0 ses utilisateurs.<\/p>\n<p>De cette histoire, na\u00eet une nouvelle collaboration, entre le ma\u00eetre d\u2019ouvrage et l\u2019agence ; celle de la conception du mobilier du hall d\u2019entr\u00e9e, avec pour fonctions : l\u2019accueil, l\u2019attente et la convivialit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019architecture de Trinity est pens\u00e9e pour s\u2019ins\u00e9rer dans son environnement, le mobilier, quant \u00e0 lui, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 son contexte par un jeu de courbes en trois dimensions.<br \/>\nL\u2019agence a choisi de travailler un objet, se d\u00e9ployant en triptyque, en r\u00e9ponse aux trois fonctionnalit\u00e9s d\u2019usage souhait\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Accueil<br \/>\nLa banque d\u2019accueil comprend trois postes de travail et de nombreux rangements.<br \/>\nSon double plan permet d\u2019accueillir les visiteurs aussi bien debout, qu\u2019assis.<\/p>\n<p>Attente<br \/>\nLe meuble, au dos de grande hauteur, s\u2019adapte aux assises, se d\u00e9veloppant en une \u00e9l\u00e9gante console.<\/p>\n<p>Convivialit\u00e9<br \/>\nUn bar \u00e0 eau aux multiples fonctionnalit\u00e9s permet d\u2019offrir aux usagers un moment de d\u00e9tente.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ensemble des \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de connectiques classiques ou \u00e0 induction pour permettre de charger les outils informatiques.<\/p>\n<p>Cet ensemble discontinu cr\u00e9e des espaces chaleureux et \u00e0 \u00e9chelle humaine \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du volume du hall. Ses courbes \u00e9pousent le lieu et valorisent son espace.<\/p>\n<p>Le hall a deux flux d\u2019utilisateurs distincts \u00e0 l\u2019image de la dynamique des fluides.<br \/>\nLe flux direct des usagers de la tour se dirigeant vers les ascenseurs et l\u2019autre indirect des visiteurs ayant besoin d\u2019\u00eatre orient\u00e9s. Le mobilier par son implantation et le dessin de ses courbes, se veut enveloppant et r\u00e9confortant.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet de design a enti\u00e8rement \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u au sein de l\u2019agence.<br \/>\nSes dessins, images et maquettes ont particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9s.<br \/>\nLe projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pendant sa conception r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en prototype \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1 pour \u00eatre en mesure de r\u00e9pondre aux contraintes sp\u00e9cifiques du lieu, notamment celui du potentiel calorifique.<\/p>\n<p>Le choix du mat\u00e9riau, l\u2019aluminium, s\u2019est impos\u00e9. L\u2019agence connaissant les qualit\u00e9s de ce produit pour l\u2019avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 sur d\u2019autres projets. C\u2019est avec l\u2019aide d\u2019un charpentier naval, qu\u2019elle a pu concevoir cet ensemble, en s\u2019inspirant d\u2019une coque de bateau et de la multitude de ses plans de forme.<br \/>\nCoupl\u00e9 et r\u00e9uni par une t\u00f4le d\u2019aluminium brut de 6mm, soud\u00e9 puis ponc\u00e9, l\u2019aluminium a \u00e9t\u00e9 bross\u00e9 finement et rev\u00eatu d\u2019un vernis l\u00e9g\u00e8rement brun.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de sellerie issus \u00e9galement de l\u2019industrie navale ont fait aussi l\u2019objet d\u2019un prototype en polystyr\u00e8ne pour appr\u00e9cier le confort des assises et juger de la duret\u00e9 de ses mousses. L\u2019ensemble est rev\u00eatu d\u2019une finition cuir pleine fleur. Its curves embrace and enhance the space.<\/p>\n<p>The hall has two distinct user flows, working to principles of fluid dynamics.<br \/>\nThe direct flow takes users straight to the lifts, and the other, indirect, is for users in need of guidance. The furniture\u2019s arrangement and curving lines is intended to envelop and reassure.<\/p>\n<p>This design project was entirely conceived within the practice.<br \/>\nIts designs, images and models have been closely studied.<br \/>\nDuring design, a full-size model of the project was made in order to reply to all the specific constraints of the context, including energy value.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminium was the clear choice for material. The practice was well aware of its qualities, having worked with it on other projects. This ensemble was designed with the help of a boat builder, taking its inspiration from a boat\u2019s hull with its many forms depending on its contours.<br \/>\nCoupled and joined by a 6mm sheet of raw aluminium. Welded then sanded, the surface was then brushed and varnished in a light brown.<\/p>\n<p>The upholstered elements, which also came from the world of boatbuilding, were tested by means of a polystyrene prototype to ascertain the comfort of the seating and hardness of the foam used. Avec son noyau d\u00e9centr\u00e9, elle offre un c\u0153ur de vie, baign\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re naturelle, \u00e0 ses utilisateurs.<\/p>\n<p>De cette histoire, na\u00eet une nouvelle collaboration, entre le ma\u00eetre d\u2019ouvrage et l\u2019agence ; celle de la conception du mobilier du hall d\u2019entr\u00e9e, avec pour fonctions : l\u2019accueil, l\u2019attente et la convivialit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Si l\u2019architecture de Trinity est pens\u00e9e pour s\u2019ins\u00e9rer dans son environnement, le mobilier, quant \u00e0 lui, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 son contexte par un jeu de courbes en trois dimensions.<br \/>\nL\u2019agence a choisi de travailler un objet, se d\u00e9ployant en triptyque, en r\u00e9ponse aux trois fonctionnalit\u00e9s d\u2019usage souhait\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Accueil<br \/>\nLa banque d\u2019accueil comprend trois postes de travail et de nombreux rangements.<br \/>\nSon double plan permet d\u2019accueillir les visiteurs aussi bien debout, qu\u2019assis.<\/p>\n<p>Attente<br \/>\nLe meuble, au dos de grande hauteur, s\u2019adapte aux assises, se d\u00e9veloppant en une \u00e9l\u00e9gante console.<\/p>\n<p>Convivialit\u00e9<br \/>\nUn bar \u00e0 eau aux multiples fonctionnalit\u00e9s permet d\u2019offrir aux usagers un moment de d\u00e9tente.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ensemble des \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de connectiques classiques ou \u00e0 induction pour permettre de charger les outils informatiques.<\/p>\n<p>Cet ensemble discontinu cr\u00e9e des espaces chaleureux et \u00e0 \u00e9chelle humaine \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du volume du hall. Ses courbes \u00e9pousent le lieu et valorisent son espace.<\/p>\n<p>Le hall a deux flux d\u2019utilisateurs distincts \u00e0 l\u2019image de la dynamique des fluides.<br \/>\nLe flux direct des usagers de la tour se dirigeant vers les ascenseurs et l\u2019autre indirect des visiteurs ayant besoin d\u2019\u00eatre orient\u00e9s. Le mobilier par son implantation et le dessin de ses courbes, se veut enveloppant et r\u00e9confortant.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet de design a enti\u00e8rement \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u au sein de l\u2019agence.<br \/>\nSes dessins, images et maquettes ont particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9s.<br \/>\nLe projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pendant sa conception r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en prototype \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1 pour \u00eatre en mesure de r\u00e9pondre aux contraintes sp\u00e9cifiques du lieu, notamment celui du potentiel calorifique.<\/p>\n<p>Le choix du mat\u00e9riau, l\u2019aluminium, s\u2019est impos\u00e9. L\u2019agence connaissant les qualit\u00e9s de ce produit pour l\u2019avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 sur d\u2019autres projets. C\u2019est avec l\u2019aide d\u2019un charpentier naval, qu\u2019elle a pu concevoir cet ensemble, en s\u2019inspirant d\u2019une coque de bateau et de la multitude de ses plans de forme.<br \/>\nCoupl\u00e9 et r\u00e9uni par une t\u00f4le d\u2019aluminium brut de 6mm, soud\u00e9 puis ponc\u00e9, l\u2019aluminium a \u00e9t\u00e9 bross\u00e9 finement et rev\u00eatu d\u2019un vernis l\u00e9g\u00e8rement brun.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de sellerie issus \u00e9galement de l\u2019industrie navale ont fait aussi l\u2019objet d\u2019un prototype en polystyr\u00e8ne pour appr\u00e9cier le confort des assises et juger de la duret\u00e9 de ses mousses. L\u2019ensemble est rev\u00eatu d\u2019une finition cuir pleine fleur. Pour sa couleur, les tons chauds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ensemble, dans l\u2019harmonie de ses formes et de ses mat\u00e9riaux cr\u00e9e un objet tactile et visuel afin d\u2019inviter les usagers dans un lieu accueillant.<\/p>\n","en":"<p>The furniture for Trinity is a project within a project.<\/p>\n<p>Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield entrusted Cro&Co Architecture with the design of the Trinity Tower.<br \/>\nCro&Co broke with the codes of a high-rise building, opening it up to its environment by means of terraces, access to the outside on every floor, and opening windows. Placed over a road, the structure of the tower is a technical feat. With its off-centre core, it provides users with a central area that is flooded with natural light.<\/p>\n<p>From this experience came a new collaboration between client and practice; that of designing the furniture for the entrance hall, with the varied functions of reception, waiting and conviviality.<\/p>\n<p>While the architecture of Trinity was designed to fit into its environment, the furniture responds to its context with a play of curves in three dimensions.<br \/>\nThe practice chose to work on a single object, extrapolating it into a triptych in response to the three desired functions.<\/p>\n<p>Reception<br \/>\nThe reception desk incorporates three workstations with multiple storage spaces.<br \/>\nIts varying height allows visitors to be welcomed standing or seated.<\/p>\n<p>Waiting<br \/>\nThe variation with a very high back is adapted for seating, flowing out into an elegant cantilever at either end.<\/p>\n<p>Conviviality<br \/>\nA multi-functional water bar caters for a break in the day.<\/p>\n<p>All pieces are equipped with conventional or wireless charging facilities for IT devices.<\/p>\n<p>This ensemble of separate pieces creates welcoming spaces on a human scale within the volume of the hall. Its curves embrace and enhance the space.<\/p>\n<p>The hall has two distinct user flows, working to principles of fluid dynamics.<br \/>\nThe direct flow takes users straight to the lifts, and the other, indirect, is for users in need of guidance. The furniture\u2019s arrangement and curving lines is intended to envelop and reassure.<\/p>\n<p>This design project was entirely conceived within the practice.<br \/>\nIts designs, images and models have been closely studied.<br \/>\nDuring design, a full-size model of the project was made in order to reply to all the specific constraints of the context, including energy value.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminium was the clear choice for material. The practice was well aware of its qualities, having worked with it on other projects. This ensemble was designed with the help of a boat builder, taking its inspiration from a boat\u2019s hull with its many forms depending on its contours.<br \/>\nCoupled and joined by a 6mm sheet of raw aluminium. Welded then sanded, the surface was then brushed and varnished in a light brown.<\/p>\n<p>The upholstered elements, which also came from the world of boatbuilding, were tested by means of a polystyrene prototype to ascertain the comfort of the seating and hardness of the foam used.
