Creating an \u00e6sthetically pleasing five-level parking lot presented a significant challenge, and Coarchitecture rose to it. The challenge was especially great, as this Quebec City firm had to comply with new urban standards. “This is an innovative, attractive project with an artistic approach. A complete union between function and \u00e6sthetics”, the jury commented.<\/p>\n

Using the concept of a multilayered, colourful and dynamic skin, the creators used fibre-reinforced concrete to create pyramidal modules superimposed onto colourful aluminium walls of the same dimensions.
