The perspective opens up on the floor above and on the backyard, while the circulation plan is lit by an impressive skylight. Initially closed-off, the staircase is now clearly unveiled. On each floor, lath levels let natural light travel all the way to the basement. Here, the substantial use of noble materials such as oak and the white-toned homogeneous colour palette create a well-controlled balance between modernism and heritage.<\/p>\n
As for the bathroom, vintage original elements are highlighted in a resolutely contemporary reinvention of the space. The detailed woodwork, the vintage wardrobe and the clawfoot bathtub are showcased on a sober pallet of material and clear colours, maximizing the soothing effects of natural light. The glass window offers a breathtaking view that becomes the ever-changing natural backdrop of the room. There is a true mastery of the home\u2019s various levels and stories, a trademark expertise of la SHED architecture.
