Carta Architecte + Designer took over 3539 LaSalle Boulevard and transformed it. The building\u2019s specific right-angled triangular form is reminiscent of the Flatiron Building\u2019s isosceles form. It creates a link between the street\u2019s space and that of Victor Alley, in the heart of the Verdun borough, thus allowing both spaces to connect.<\/p>\n
Its facade is faithful to the original form and integrates elements of modernity. Its windows gained height. During the day, it illuminates the agency\u2019s interior space whereas at night it transforms it into an island of light, allowing it to be showcased in its neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
It is a place where simple and traditional rough materials meet refined forms like steel, concrete wood and brick. Everything comes together in a friendly atmosphere and boasts an audacious as well as a coherent architecture.
