Cur\u00e9-Labelle Place, with its Victorian style, now embodies an ambitious and unique lighting concept, achieved by BC2 and CS Design. The central monument, the statue of Cur\u00e9 Labelle, is found in the middle. Repeating the original dimensions of the old church\u2019s facade, the arch, formed by two white steel panels, becomes a modern ruin illuminated from the inside. A multitude of hidden lights shine through small cross-shaped perforations, sprinkles the arch. The audacity was in integrating the lighting in the perforations to bring out the monument\u2019s architecture, reminiscent of the stained- glass windows.
