The concept is based on the creation of a continuous pedagogical loop connected to nature with the holistic and community space at its heart.<br \/>\nThis gesture unites the spaces dedicated to classes, physical activity and collective spaces in an open course offering a holistic approach to teaching and creating multipurpose spaces. The courtyard invites to cross, becomes an extension of the school by promoting communication with nature, discovery and physical activity. From the gesture of implantation, the concept of continuity is manifested by the organization of the spaces and the interior materiality. This audacious layout creates a connection between all the spaces with the inner courtyard at its heart, thus facilitating links with the outside.<\/p>\n<p>The architecture of the expansion is designed to respond to the context, the geometry of the site, but also to preserve the existing trees in the heart of the place and open to the outside. Its angular shape contrasts with the existing building through its volumetry, modulating itself to animate the spaces, creating points of interest and dynamic places. The form is sculpted, cut out and this concept spreads out in the plan layout. <\/p>\n<p>The new school is criss-crossed by three lines of landscape, creating links with classrooms, promoting physical activity, generating a sense of community and encouraging learning about the key principles of healthy eating.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Line is the reception area of the new school and is deployed via a public parvis that is open and inclusive for the community. The Activity line is the main link of the project, crossing the inner courtyard like a line of desire and connecting the courtyards to the school.
