Bien ancr\u00e9s dans la m\u00e9moire collective de la province, ces deux narratifs s\u2019unissent pour cr\u00e9er une luge au langage soign\u00e9 et \u00e0 la fois ludique. Le choix du profil\u00e9 en T s\u2019explique par ses proportions et ses arrondis qui se pr\u00eatent bien \u00e0 la conception d\u2019un patin de luge. La base de l\u2019extrusion d\u2019aluminium offre une surface de glisse optimale, tandis que les ouvertures lat\u00e9rales permettent une prise en main pendant la descente et aident \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le poids de la luge. D\u00e9grossis \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la fraiseuse et de la scie \u00e0 ruban, les patins ont par la suite \u00e9t\u00e9 fa\u00e7onn\u00e9s \u00e0 la toupie pour bien d\u00e9finir le profil. S\u2019en suit une longue finition manuelle \u00e0 l\u2019aide de r\u00e2pes et de papiers sabl\u00e9s. La pr\u00e9sence de goujons d\u2019\u00e9rable vient limiter le pont thermique pendant le transport et sert de structure et d\u2019assise.
