Noble woods in the kitchen
\nSince 2004, Concept Giroux has been offering high-quality, solid wood kitchen products, made in Quebec according to the highest industry standards. Kitchen counters, islands, indoor and outdoor dining tables, wine cellars, and cutting boards are made from high-density, non-chemically treated wood grown in sustainably managed forests.
\nNo two pieces are alike; each is custom designed according to best practices and crafted out of noble woods from North America and exotic species from Africa and Brazil. To achieve desired colours, some wood species undergo a torrefaction, or heating, process that doesn\u2019t require dyes or paints.
\nThe style and quality of the craftsmanship of Giroux\u2019s cutting boards have been noted by such acclaimed chefs as Ricardo, Louis-Fran\u00e7ois Marcotte, and Danny St-Pierre, among others, who have used these products on their television shows.
\nIn 2007, Concept Giroux moved into new digs in Chambly\u2019s industrial park, which was better suited to its expanding operations. There, they opened a showroom where kitchen designers can come and see the quality of their products firsthand.
