Client\u2019s request was to increase the satisfaction of the existing tenants as well as to attract the new tenants. Unlike the old buildings, the new buildings have many amenity areas such as the lounge area and work area for employees can freely use. Client requested us to modify some spaces into the co-working and community lounge space to enhance more communications.<\/p>\n<p>This project, Brick 8 is located on the eighth floor above the building park near the Tokyo station. Our mission was to create an agile co-working space which all tenant workers can use as the alternative flexible work environment. Our design concept is the Rooftop Gallery, and we designed the interior terrace along the windows relayed to the sky above. The community lounge and work lounge area located in the center to increase communication, and the caf\u00e9 lounge near the entrance are casually used. We addressed three design key words \u2013 Harmony, Authentic, and Sophisticated. To harmonize with its architecture and landscape, we incorporated this building\u2019s unique characters and lush green into our interior design to express the sense of authenticity using the special materials and details.<\/p>\n<p>Because the tenant space was changed to the common space, the access to the lift lobby and corridor was not easy. For this reason, we demolished the wall and replaced with a glass wall to increase visibility.<\/p>\n<p>We planned the zoning plan to allow users to choose where to sit depending on the different scenes such as working, talking, eating, or resting. The floor plan spreads out in a fan shape from entrance door to the inside of the building, so we arranged for the people to move around and created the variety of seating options for users to choose from easily.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>We incorporated both history and culture into our design details by blending old and new. This building was the first office building in Marunouchi in Tokyo in 1864. While restoring building, Marunouchi Park Building is a place built with many elements of Mitsubishi Ichigokan as essence of its architecture, landscape, and interior design at time of its construction. There are some homages to the Ichigokan building such as arch opening shape, ceiling molding design, wooden counter edge detail, and using brass finish to pendant light and legs of chairs. Le client nous a demand\u00e9 de modifier certains espaces pour en faire des espaces de co-working et des salons communautaires afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la communication.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet, Brick 8, est situ\u00e9 au huiti\u00e8me \u00e9tage au-dessus du parc immobilier pr\u00e8s de la gare de Tokyo. Notre mission \u00e9tait de cr\u00e9er un espace de co-working agile que tous les travailleurs locataires peuvent utiliser comme un environnement de travail flexible alternatif. Notre concept est la Galerie sur le toit, et nous avons con\u00e7u la terrasse sur le toit le long des fen\u00eatres qui s\u2019ouvrent sur le ciel. Le salon communautaire et le salon de travail sont situ\u00e9s au centre pour am\u00e9liorer la communication, et le caf\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de l\u2019entr\u00e9e est utilis\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re d\u00e9contract\u00e9e. Nous avons abord\u00e9 trois mots cl\u00e9s de la conception : harmonie, authenticit\u00e9 et sophistication. Pour \u00eatre en harmonie avec l\u2019architecture et le paysage, nous avons incorpor\u00e9 les caract\u00e8res uniques de ce b\u00e2timent et la verdure luxuriante dans notre design int\u00e9rieur pour exprimer le sens de l\u2019authenticit\u00e9 en utilisant des mat\u00e9riaux et des d\u00e9tails sp\u00e9ciaux.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019espace du locataire ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9 en espace commun, l\u2019acc\u00e8s au hall d\u2019ascenseur et au couloir n\u2019est pas facile. C\u2019est pourquoi nous avons d\u00e9moli le mur et l\u2019avons remplac\u00e9 par une paroi en verre pour accro\u00eetre la visibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons planifi\u00e9 le plan de zonage pour permettre aux utilisateurs de choisir o\u00f9 s\u2019asseoir en fonction des diff\u00e9rentes sc\u00e8nes telles que le travail, les conversations, les repas ou le repos. Le plan d\u2019\u00e9tage s\u2019\u00e9tend en \u00e9ventail depuis la porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du b\u00e2timent.
